To Rondout Valley Athletes and their Families,
Registration for Fall Sports 2017 will be taking place a little different than usual this year.  We are moving to a secure online platform called Family ID.  This will be more efficient for everyone involved and we will be distributing information about this in the coming weeks.  For now, besides the physical, do not fill out any paper forms.  Parents please click on the REGISTER NOW button below and let us know the sport your child intends to play in the fall.  30 days prior to the sport season you will go back to the site to officially complete the registration paperwork. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to give us a call.
Sincerely, Mr. Weber

Athlete of the Week - Unified Basketball - Co-Players of the week
Chris Cioto is one of the most aggressive players in unified basketball.  He has speed, heart and the willingness to work very hard at what he does.  Chris scored 35 points in his first game, 30 points in the second, He averages 30 points a game, and has proven himself to be the most valuable player.  Because Chris took the lead and led his team for most of our victories, he has truly earned the title "Player of the Week".

Michael Tetta shows great sportsmanship in unified basketball.  He scored 12 points in the first game, and 12 points in the second.  Michael gave defense, offense and a little rebounding.  Michael was aggressive when he needed to be.  He picked up a lot of speed and played with heart, spirit and hard workmanship leading him to be and incredible asset to the team.

Athlete of the Week - Girl's Track

Jennifer Callan

Freshman Jen Callan has made quite an impact as a varsity athlete so far. She made her first trip to a State Cross Country Championship as an 8th grader helping her team win Sections and going with them as one of our top 5 scoring runners. Her freshman year has been even more successful. She qualified as an individual to go to her 2nd Cross Country State Championship during the fall, then had a very successful Indoor Track season, followed by helping her Outdoor Track team win the Section 9 Class C Championship by placing 2nd in the 3000 meter race, helping her 4x800 relay place 3rd, and winning the 1500 meter race making her one of the few freshman to become a Section 9 individual Champion. One week later she went to Washingtonville High School to compete in the 3000 meter State Qualifier race. She amazed us all by winning the race, running the fastest time ever run by a freshman at Rondout Valley and qualifying for the State Championships which are happening this Friday at Union-Endicott High School in Binghamton.

Jayden Brodhead-Milton

Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Week

Jayden is a first year varsity boy’s track and field athlete who has made a tremendous positive impact on our team this season.  Jayden is extremely coachable and brings a positive attitude to track practice each and every day.  He is a friendly and outgoing person who is able to bring the team together and is always willing to do what is needed to help the team.  Jayden competes in the 100 meter dash and the 110 meter high hurdles as well as the 4 x 100 meter relay team.  At the Section 9 Championships Jayden made the finals of the 100 meter dash taking 8th place overall and took 4th place overall in Section 9 in the 110 meter high hurdles.  This is truly impressive, especially for a first year hurdler.
