Exclamation PointPetitions nominating candidates for the office of member of the Board of Education of the Rondout Valley Central School District will be available online at Rondout.k12.ny.us and at the District Office, Kyserike Road, Accord, beginning on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Completed petitions, with the signatures of Nineteen (19) qualified District voters, must be filed with the Clerk of the District not later that 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017. The term of office is for three (3) years. The following vacancies, expiring on June 30, 2017, are to be filled: term of James Ayers, term of James Blair, term of Glenn Dannaham. The election will be held on May 16, 2017.

Candidates for the Board of Education must be at least 18 years old, qualified voters in the Rondout Valley Central School District and able to read and write. They must have been residents of the District continuously for one year before the election.
