Student Resources

Superintendent Recommendation
I would like to encourage our students to visit the website titled “Khan Academy” which was developed by MIT graduate Sal Khan.  Khan Academy is a web-based program that has a library of over 3,100 videos that cover K-12 math, science, and even reaches into the humanities with playlists on finance and history. Each video is a digestible chunk, approximately 10 minutes long, and especially purposed for viewing on the computer. At Khan Academy they believe that, “technology exists today to fundamentally transform education, making it more accessible and individualized with the belief that a great teacher can use technology to push learning to new levels.”

There are interactive practice pages where students will get immediate feedback as they test their knowledge of each particular skill. There are also teacher resources and literature connections as well.
