Community Input - Strategic Planning

Strategic PlanningDear Rondout Valley School Community:

As we build the District Strategic Plan, we are seeking input from our community on the most important skills and experiences our students need. To gather the thoughts and opinions of our community we are using ThoughtExchange, a tool that facilitates a two-way conversation that is dynamic and inclusive. This software platform allows all members of our community to anonymously share their thoughts and ideas and provides the opportunity to build on the thoughts of others. You'll be asked to answer one open-ended question with as many responses as you like and then move on to the next step, in which you can rate the thoughts of others. In this step, you'll see your thoughts, as well as the thoughts of others, and assign stars to each thought (from 1-5) depending on how strongly you agree or disagree with the idea. ThoughtExchange keeps confidential who shared each thought and who assigned what ratings. You can rate as many thoughts as you'd like before moving on to Discover where you can see all the thoughts sorted by the average star rating. You can also navigate by using the bar across the top to go back and share more ideas or rate some more thoughts at any time. Please join the conversation, share your thoughts, and help evaluate and prioritize the thoughts of others.

We will begin with the question: “What are the most important skills and experiences our students need to prepare them for success in learning and life?”
