Important Update Re:School Budget Vote
Posted on 06/04/2020
important informationDear Rondout Valley School District Community:

We have spoken with NTS, the third-party vendor that is handling the printing and mailing of our ballots, and they have confirmed that all ballots were mailed to RVCSD registered voters on Tuesday, June 2nd. Ballots should be arriving in mailboxes any day.

We understand that the delay in mailing of the ballots from our vendor has caused frustration among our community, and we share in that frustration. We also understand that there is concern that there will not be sufficient time to return the ballots by mail, as we mentioned in a post earlier this week.

In response to this concern, the Rondout Valley Central School District will have locked ballot boxes set up at our Middle School and District Office. The locked ballot boxes will be available from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Monday, June 8th and Tuesday, June 9th. We encourage you to use the locked ballot boxes if you believe that your mailed response will not reach the District by the state mandated deadline, which is Tuesday, June 9th by 5:00 PM.

We thank you for your continued patience and understanding during these unforeseen difficult times.

Very truly yours,

Joseph Morgan, Superintendent
