Dear Rondout Valley School District Community,

We have been notified that over spring break one Intermediate staff member tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member was last in attendance on 3/22.  In accordance with the New York State Department of Health Toolkit and guidance from the Ulster County Department of Health, it was determined that 7 students and 1 staff member were required to quarantine. Those that were required to quarantine were notified.  

Additionally, we learned that one High School student tested positive for COVID-19. The student has been engaged in the fully remote 100% off-site learning model. One Marbletown Elementary School student tested positive for COVID-19. The student was last in attendance on 3/18. In accordance with the New York State Department of Health Toolkit and guidance from the Ulster County Department of Health, it has been determined that no school related individuals were required to quarantine.
