Welcome Back from Superintendent Morgan

Welcome Back from Superintendent Morgan
Posted on 09/04/2018
welcome backDear Members of the Rondout School Community:

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!  The school personnel have been working hard to prepare the schools for the return of the students and staff.  We are looking forward to the start of a successful school year.  I am very excited to be here as your superintendent and I am looking forward to starting the year together.

I am writing to let you know of an administrative change at the high school.  Mr. Bob Cook, the high school principal, will be out on a leave of absence until January.  Laura Ayasse, a retired Rondout principal, will serve as the interim principal of the high school until Mr. Cook’s return.  The administrative team at the high school has worked hard all summer hiring new staff and putting things in place for a great start to the school year.

As the new school year begins I wish everyone great success. I hope to get the chance to meet you. If you see me around the district please take the opportunity to introduce yourself.

Respectfully,

Joseph Morgan, Superintendent
