Description
|
The caravan will journey along a 32-mile route through the community, then proceed through our main campus. Graduates are encouraged to wear their cap and gown and decorate their vehicles, as well as sit in the passenger seat to enjoy the parade. The community is encouraged to show support by selecting a location along our caravan route and celebrating our graduates with cheering and decorations. Additional details are listed below.
Details & Guidelines:
• Line-up will begin at 5:15 PM sharp at SUNY Ulster.
• Route is 32 miles, see map below.
• Graduates are encouraged to wear their cap and gowns and decorate their vehicle.
• Graduates should sit in the passenger seat to enjoy the parade.
• Graduates and family members must remain in their vehicle at all times.
• Main campus will be closed. Only vehicles with graduates will be permitted.
• Community may show support by selecting a location along our caravan route and celebrate our graduates with signs, noise, and cheering as our graduates pass through. Decorate storefronts and areas along our route.
• Parade will kick-off from SUNY Ulster at 6:00 PM.
