General Student Registration Information

To register a student, please print and fill out the registration packet linked below.

Completed registration packets and required documentation can be be returned via email (email address on page 1 of the packet) or dropped off to Central Registration at the District Office between the hours of 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM on school days. The District Office is located at 122 Kyserike Road, Accord, NY 12404 - use the Third Street Entrance.

*Please note that physical and immunization records can be submitted at a later date. It is suggested that you submit your child's registration packet even if you do not have those documents available at this time.*

Kindergarten Registration

If your child turns five years old on or before December 1, 2025, they are eligible to begin Kindergarten in September 2025.

Universal Pre-K Information

If you have a youngster who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2025, or 3 years old by December 1, 2025, and you are a resident of the Rondout Valley Central School District, they are eligible to participate in the 2025/2026 Universal Pre-Kindergarten program.

Special Circumstances

Special Circumstances

If the student is age 17 or under and not living with a parent OR is living with a non-custodial parent, the District requires the parent/guardian(s) and person(s) in parental relation to the child to provide a notarized affidavit indicating that they are:

1) the person(s) in parental relation to the child, over whom they have total and permanent custody and control, and describing how they obtained total and permanent custody and control, whether through guardianship or otherwise; OR
2) the parent(s) with whom the child lawfully resides.
