2026 Kindergarten Registration

If you have a child who will be five years old on or before December 1, 2026, they are eligible to enter Kindergarten in September 2026.

To register your child online, visit our online registration page for Kindergarten students.

To register your child using a paper packet, fill out our Kindergarten Outreach form.

Reminder: If your child is currently enrolled in our Universal Pre-Kindergarten program or other preschool services, they will still need to register for Kindergarten, including providing current proof of residence.

How to Submit Documentation

You may submit your documents using one of the following methods:

Email: Scan or take a clear photo and email to "rvregistration" followed by @rondout.k12.ny.us (For Example: word@rondout.k12.ny.us)
In-Person: Drop off at the District Office, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
- Address: 122 Kyserike Rd., Accord, NY 12404 (Use the Third Street Entrance)

Current Year (25-26) Student Registration Information

To register a student, please print and fill out the registration packet linked below.

Completed registration packets and required documentation can be be returned via email (email address on page 1 of the packet) or dropped off to Central Registration at the District Office between the hours of 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM on school days. The District Office is located at 122 Kyserike Road, Accord, NY 12404 - use the Third Street Entrance.

Printed packets can also be picked up at the District Office.

*Please note that physical and immunization records can be submitted at a later date. It is suggested that you submit your child's registration packet even if you do not have those documents available at this time.*

Special Circumstances

Special Circumstances

If the student is age 17 or under and not living with a parent OR is living with a non-custodial parent, the District requires the parent/guardian(s) and person(s) in parental relation to the child to provide a notarized affidavit indicating that they are:

1) the person(s) in parental relation to the child, over whom they have total and permanent custody and control, and describing how they obtained total and permanent custody and control, whether through guardianship or otherwise; OR
2) the parent(s) with whom the child lawfully resides.
