Rondout Valley Athletes Continue to Shine!
A huge congratulations to Owen Shaffer-Sermini, who made history as the first-ever Rondout Valley male athlete to medal at the Cross Country State Championships! Competing at Queensbury HS on November 16, Owen placed 15th overall – an incredible achievement!
The Rondout Valley Girls' Cross Country Team also had an outstanding performance, placing 7th overall in their Class C race. They exceeded expectations, coming into the meet ranked 9th.
Kudos to Flora Parker-Myers (Cross Country) and Kendell Erlswein (Field Hockey), who were both honored with the Section 9 Sportsmanship Award at States, exemplifying excellence and character in their respective sports.
