New Assistant Superintendent for Business Services Joins Rondout Valley Central School District

The Rondout Valley Central School District (RVCSD) Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Tabatha Biggane to a newly created position: assistant superintendent for business services. She was appointed during a meeting on October 8 and officially assumed her post on November 18.

Biggane comes to Rondout Valley from the Hudson City School District, where she had served as the chief financial officer since March 2023. Prior to that, she was the school district business official for Fonda-Fultonville Central School District and a school district treasurer for the Cairo-Durham Central School District.

RVCSD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Paul Spadaro expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Biggane. "Tabatha’s experience and the wealth of knowledge she brings from her previous roles will be invaluable to Rondout Valley," he said. "We are excited to have her join our team and look forward to the positive impact her leadership will have on our schools and community."

Biggane earned both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The College of Saint Rose. She also holds a School District Business Leadership certificate.

Biggane is embracing the opportunity to make an impact at Rondout Valley. “In my new role, I am focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring financial sustainability, and fostering a transparent and collaborative environment for budgeting and resource allocation,” she said. “I am also looking forward to working closely with the leadership team to develop innovative solutions that address both short-term needs and long-term goals for the District.”
