Notice of Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 466-a of the Real Property Tax Law, the Board of Education of the Rondout Valley Central School District will hold a public hearing on November 20, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at 122 Kyserike Road, Accord, New York 12404.
PURPOSE: Notice of Public Hearing on Volunteer Firefighters and Ambulance Workers Tax Exemption
The purpose of this public hearing is to provide an opportunity for interested parties and citizens to be heard regarding a proposed resolution to adopt an exemption of school taxes of up to 10% of the assessed value of the primary residence of qualifying volunteer fire-fighters and ambulance workers who reside and serve within the District.
(Original date of public hearing was November 12. Hearing was postponed until November 20.)
