A Packed House for the RVHS Winter Concert

The Rondout Valley High School (RVHS) Concert Band and Choir performed to a packed house on December 18 as they presented their Winter Concert.

The Concert Choir, directed by Juliana McCarthy and the Concert Band, directed by Randolph Loder, performed several outstanding pieces each before being joined by alumni, faculty, and community members for the grand finale of Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” from The Messiah.

Following the concert there was hot cocoa for all, compliments of the RVHS Music Boosters. This event is just one of the many reasons why Rondout Valley has been chosen as the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation’s “Best Communities for Music Education” designation year after year.
