A Time to Recharge: Wellness Wednesday at RVHS

On December 17, Rondout Valley High School paused its regular schedule to prioritize student well-being during its semi-annual Wellness Wednesday celebration.

This meaningful tradition transformed the final hours of the school day into a vibrant hub of connection and self-care. Students were given the freedom to choose from a wide variety of activities tailored to their interests, ranging from high-energy soccer matches and mindful yoga sessions to creative Lego building and relaxing holiday movies.

By stepping away from traditional instruction, students found a vital opportunity to breathe, bond, and recharge before the winter break. Wellness Wednesday continues to be an essential part of the RVHS experience, reinforcing the importance of mental health and strengthening the ties within our school community.
