School Taxes

2026-2027 School Tax Information

All property owners will receive a tax bill. If your school taxes are escrowed through your mortgage lender, please do not make a payment. Instead, check with your mortgage lender to confirm that they will make the payment on your behalf.

Tax payments will not be accepted at the District Office.

Tax payments can be made: 

• Online at: Info-Tax Online 
  • Credit cards and e-checks accepted. A convenience fee will be charged.
• By mail to: Rondout Valley CSD C/O The Bank of Greene County, PO BOX 618, LAKE KATRINE, NY 12449
• In person at: The Bank of Greene County, 2 Miron Lane, Kingston, NY 12401.
  • Branch hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am - 6pm, and Saturday 9am - 1pm excluding holidays.

Taxes and penalties must be paid in full or in two installments. Incorrect payment amounts cannot be accepted and will be returned. U.S. Postmark is considered the date of payment. After November 4, 2026, taxes will no longer be accepted by the School District.

The tax collection period is as follows:

September 1, 2026 - September 30, 2026, without payment of penalty
October 1, 2026 – October 31, 2026, with a 2% penalty
November 1, 2026 – November 4, 2026, with a 3% penalty
No taxes will be accepted after 11/4/26
