School taxes can now be paid online (link below), in person, or by mail.
Online payments can now be made online from the comfort of your home. Payments accepted online include electronic check and credit card. Credit cards currently accepted include American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa. A transaction fee will be charged by the payment processing company for credit card payments. Electronic checks will be charged a fee of $1.50 by the payment processing company.
Taxes may be paid by mail to Rondout Valley CSD C/O The Bank of Greene County, PO BOX 618, LAKE KATRINE, NY 12449 or in person at the branch located at 2 Miron Lane, Kingston, NY. Branch hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am – 1pm.
You can also pay in person at the Rondout Valley Central School District Office located at 122 Kyserike Road, Accord, NY. District hours are 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and school closings. Taxes and any penalties must be paid in full or in two installments in accordance with the schedule printed on the face of the bill. Incorrect payment amounts cannot be accepted. U.S. Postmark is considered the date of payment. The Tax Collector can be reached at (845) 687-2400 x4813. After November 5, 2022, taxes will no longer be accepted by the School District. Unpaid taxes will be re-levied to your county tax bill in January 2023 with a 3% school penalty plus a county penalty of 7%.
